Episode 5: Trekking the the Renwick

Some days you’ve got to just get out of the studio and see the world. Ken and Austin experiment with a few new forms of audio in this episode: recording on the go and public soundscapes. The Renwick gallery is currently featuring No Spectators: The Art of Burning Man, in which patrons can intimately participate in a variety of art featured at the latest Burning Man festival in Nevada. Although this conversation isn’t specifically centered on Burning Man, the team hopes to dive deeper into the visual and audio spectacle that is Burning Man in a later episode.

If you’re interested in a ten minute audio immersion into the sounds featured in the exhibit, skip to the last ten minutes of content. A bulk of the episode is us candidly chatting about our surroundings in DC as we walk.
